May 18th 2024, looking nice at the moment.
It's funny how the camera decides it's needs to be a completely different shade, last pic.

Here's mine from the first picture in early spring time to yesterday , with it now showing it's summer colours. Really opened up the surrounding trees which were blocking the light from this tree and it's certainly better now colour wise, and the growth is certainly more visible this year as well , had a good under prune over the winter .

Is OFS the best of the pink ghosts-types? I recently purchased an OFS, Celebration and Strawberry Spring and I'd say so far OFS has the brightest pink while the others take on a more magenta or fuscia color. I'm still missing Mikazuki & Uncle Ghost.

My OFS leafs out a similar color to this picture.

I haven't grown all of them so cannot give a definitive answer. What I can say is that Olsen's Frosted Strawberry is one of the best reticulated types that I have grown and it is always a showstopper in the spring. A healthy plant for me too, so a winner all round. Grows well in a container and makes a nice contrast with "fresh green" JM's in the spring:
