AWESOME, Blake! I am so happy for you!

    : )

Not to worry - mine looked like an ugly stump too when I first got it, but it will soon turn into a gorgeous specimen in no time flat! How exciting that you are growing the same banana plant as me!

Good luck, Blake. Now we can compare notes...

Great Chile's Blake. Wow I can't keep up with this thread is this the lonest thread ever or what on this forum?

Well We are enjoying some produce out of the garden and our corgettes have been delicious. Here are a few fotos of them and the Banana and Mango.

Where the pictures are of the corgettes note that the tiles in the back ground are 6 inches wide and high to give you an idea of size.

    By the way, Blake...

Are those ornamental chilly chili peppers edible? I have a variety that looks similar to yours with the many different colored fruits as they ripen, and they are ornmental but edible as well. Curious about yours and if they are edible, have you tried one yet? How hot are they?

hmmmm, I have heard its very hot and I am a little bit afraid to taste it but I guess its edible. :)

"PIQUIN - This chile pepper is 1 - 2 inches long, is thin and dries to a bright red color. For edible ristras and wreaths, this chile is normally VERY VERY HOT!"

Give them a try - they're likely delicious. I just use a pair of scissors and I cut little rings into my food right on the plate. You don't have to necessarily cook them. Are ya gonna share some of those with me, or what? They are quite pretty, and remind me of my Aurora variety.

Also, how are the Goji berry seeds working out for ya? Did ya decide to germinate a few, or are ya saving them for next year?...

Blake Chile Piquin is edible, although in Mexico we normally dry them out crush them and make a chile powder out of them that we then sprinkle onto sliced cucumber with lime juice for a snack, or with Pineapple, Jicama, Carrots cut long ways, the lime and sweetness brings out the flavour of the chile. Delicious. It is also used to make a sauce for going with steaks and meat.

I think Blake knew what I meant, Katalina, but thanks for butting in! We all know how the forum works so you don't need to be the UBC warden - lol. I just meant that where it is appropriate Blake, post those shots up eveywhere, because they're awesome!

    : )

Wow, Blake - there sure are some cool varieties on that site, so thanks. I don't think I better order any more right now though, because as you know I have tons already!

    excuse me HBL

I DO NOT 'BUTT IN' how dare yo say that?

posting one message or image everywhere on a forum is spamming, something you obviosly know nothiing about not having had your own site where you have to clean spam up.

I was actually just kidding around like you seem to a lot, Katalina. Your previous post speaks volumes.

I only hope that the person I addressed my post to understood what I meant. I would never promote spamming, but know of many more threads where it would be appropriate to post those lovely shots.

Thanks again Blake, for sharing them.
