I bought a jade plants that is pretty nice... the nursery man pinched the leaves on trunk ... will multiple branches will come out of these holes...

suddenly from last 2 days my aloevera plant has started to loose its leaf's e gel (not completely but they are becoming thin) they are not exposed...
it may be wind... I dont have any pets except some parrots .... But my plant is kept Indoor.... wonder what is the problem ?
