Although I've been calling it ornamental ginger for years, a quick google search for ornamental ginger didn't come up with anything looking like this. Anyone know what it is?
    Variegated leaves upto 12" tall
White flower stalks which turn to bright red fruits that look like large pomegranate seeds.
Dies back after fruiting, comes back every spring.

Ditto to Arum italicum; distinguished from the related A. maculatum by the pale veins on the leaves.

Note: toxic if ingested. Don't eat the fruit, however tempting they might look!
